This is the website for my counselling practice in Victoria, BC. In these pages I have articles describing how I work and themes related to mental health and psychotherapy.

My approach to counselling is psychodynamic. Simply put, this means I focus on relationships, especially childhood ones.

All counselling worth its salt needs to focus, in part, on the early relationships that shaped us. This is especially the case if there was any physical or emotional trauma.

I often use Jungian, Psychoanalytic, Humanistic, and mindfulness approaches and techniques. For a clear description of how I work that is free of jargon, please see the “How I Work” pages above.
